Massage works beautifully for those who seek non-pharmaceutical and non-surgical approaches to managing their health and wellness. Massage activates your body’s natural healing systems, which seek restoration, balance and vitality.

Among the positive outcomes of massage:

  • Reduced pain
  • Reduced stress hormones
  • Enhanced sense of well-being and attentiveness
  • Improved immune function
  • Alleviation of depressive symptoms

Louise Orders was trained in the art and science of therapeutic massage by dedicated instructors and practitioners at the Baltimore School of Massage. Since graduating in 2001 she has continued her education and studied the work of leaders in the field of massage and bodywork.  She holds a certification in orthopedic massage, and is trained in myoskeletal massage, myofascial release, deep tissue, and sports massage. She has extensively studied the field of mind/body approaches to health, and works closely with her clients to help them maintain that mindset outside of the treatment room. Most sessions are a blend of modalities, and all sessions are specific to your needs.
