Generally speaking, your health, fitness, and well-being is the sum total of your daily habits. If you want to transform your health, you must first transform your habits. And if you’re ready to think long-term, you’ll realize that there’s some up-front work to discover specifically what works best for you and design your life around that.
“Do the work. Trust the process.”
Maybe you already know what works best for you. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel. This program will support you as get you back on track. It’s simple: begin again.
Perhaps you need to explore, experiment, and simply practice some new habits and see what happens. Success leaves clues: if it’s helpful you’ll know pretty quickly. This program will give you daily access to a professional who can guide you through this process.
“More isn’t better, it’s just more.”
Chances are that what you think you need to do to feel better, look better, and get stronger is wrong. It’s far simpler and takes less than you think. The concept of “minimum effective dose” applies to fitness and is great news for busy people. There are reasons people consistently fail at attempts to improve their health and fitness: they try to do too much, too fast and they choose an approach that isn’t right for them.
“Your body is wise”
We are a culture of numbers and absolutes. Meat or plants? Fat or no fat? Calories or grams? 3 meals per day or graze? No wonder you’re confused. Take a deep breath. Here’s some good news: there are very few absolutes that have withstood the test of time in the science of nutrition. Your body is incredibly capable and nuanced at letting you know what’s working and what’s not. We’ll help you learn to listen.
WHY THIS PROGRAM?
We believe the first wealth is health, and we are dedicated to helping our clients maximize theirs. Getting started is the hardest part and we know that momentum comes fast when you discover what really works for you. We guide the process, not dictate the details.
WHAT WILL I DO?
This 30 day program focuses on four areas:
Nutrition. Our guidelines tailored with your specifics. We will not provide meal plans. You will not be required to measure, track, or record what you eat. This is perfect if you already know what works best for you and just want some structure to get back on track. If you’re not sure what’s best for you and you’re ready to explore and experiment, we’ll guide that process.
Exercise. You decide what, when and where. Specific goals require specific approaches. Again, your coach will guide you.
Sleep. Not just getting the hours but setting the stage. Rebuild bedtime.
Water. Your brain, heart and lungs are upwards of 70% water. Drink up.
Our guidelines are based on that which is consistently validated by science and long-term evidence. We go with what works; plain and simple. Start with the basics and build. Don’t make it harder than it needs to be.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You’ll receive your program packet via email the week of 1/23. You’ll be crystal clear on your personal plan after our happy hour kick-off Friday, January 27th, complete with munchies from Cafe Mezz. (That meeting will be recorded if you absolutely can’t make it.) After that you’ll receive daily emails from your coach(es) to keep you engaged and curious. Throughout the 30 days you will have M-F email access to your own coach to help you refine your habits, bridge any knowledge gaps, and handle any challenges you encounter. There is NO tedious online tracking or daily requirement beyond a simple, paper-based checklist. There are no in-person meetings beyond our 1/27 kick-off and Friday, February 24th closing event.
